In ancient Greek, the term “phenomenon” (from phainomai) had the meaning of “showing, appearing” and the scientific vocabulary has adopted it to indicate something that happens and can be studied. Our science gym possesses a large number of exhibits: mechanisms conceived to train the mind and to learn something new, where young and old “observers” can apprehend the basics of mathematics, physics and chemistry through interactive exhibits and lab demonstrations of natural phenomena. Among floating balls, optical illusions, odd-shaped pendulums and improbable balancers, visitors will realize how science can be fun and accessible to all. A forest of games/experiments to wander through alone or with the help of 'explainers'.
